Location: Hang (Cave) Pagoda with an ancient name,
Co Thach Tu (ancient pagoda on Co Thach Mountain), in Binh Thanh Village, Tuy
Phong District was built in 1835 by Bonze Bao Tang, a member of the 40th
generation of the main line of the Thien Lam Sect. Located in a cave on Co Thach
Mountain, the pagoda has many shrines for worship. The main shrine is amid two
big standing mounts, then comes the Buddhist hall, the bell tower, the hall for
meditation, the ancestral hall, etc. In this pagoda many rate cultural objects
have been preserved. Hang Pagode was classified as a national
cultural-historical relic in 1993.
