Location: Vien Giac Pagoda is located in
Cam Pho Ward, Hoi An Town, Quang Nam Province.
Characteristics: Formerly, the pagoda was
founded at Xuyen Trung, called Cam Ly Pagoda, after that, because of land
erosion near the river, the people here moved the pagoda to the present position
in 1841 and renamed it Vien Giac Pagoda.
At the beginning, Vien Giac Pagoda was a village one and in 1950, it was managed
by the local Buddhists.
