We are just back from our trip and I thought to let you know that we have
been delighted by the whole experience.The hotels were excellent,the side trips
very good and the guides excellent.The only thing that we would like to tell
you, so that it does not happen to anybody else, is that during our trip to the
Mekong river we left our overnight bags in the car and some money ( australian
dollars $300 ) have been stolen.
We did not realize it immediately but our toiletteries bag which was in
our overnight rucksac was moved to our friends bag, and our money was taken from
a money pouch that we had left in our bag.
The guide's name was Thao Kevin (Pham?) and we do not suspect him at all
since he was with us all the time.But the driver was wlone with the vehicle all
day.This is the only black spot of the trip.
Otherwise you have a wonderful country and beautiful peoples.
