Int’l sailing festival in Mui Ne

Festival organizers on Wednesday announced details for the March 17-20 International Sailing Festival 2011 in Phan Thiet City.
Sixteen teams have registered with about 100 sailors from 15 countries and territories including the U.K., Russia, India, France, Bungary, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Qatar.
The festival will also feature a live music show in the sand dunes for four nights, a sailing technology exhibition in Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, photo exhibition and international seminars on the yachting industry and sea tourism development.
The Sealinks Beach Hotel will make a floating stage on its swimming pool for the award ceremony and gala dinner.
