World-recognised Stone Plateau attracted large number of tourists

The World-recognised Dong Van Stone Plateau in the northern province of Ha Giang attracted 4,000 domestic and foreign tourists over Tet, earning VND3 billion (US$150,000).
Sen Chin Ly, a provincial official, said various sporting and cultural activities and traditional festivals had been held to attract tourists.
The plateau was officially recognised as a global geo-park last November.
