“Tinh Hoa Tet Viet” festival to be held in Hanoi

“Tinh Hoa Tet Viet” (Vietnamese Lunar New Year essential) festival will be held at West Lake Park on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2011.
In the framework of the festival, there wil be a series of attractive activities such as a Gala Rock program for Vietnamese students on January 22nd with the participation of 10 student rock bands from universities and colleges across the country.
“The West Lake flower and lanterns festival” will be held on February 2nd (December 30th of Lunar Calendar) with more than 10,000 coloured lanterns floating on West Lake. All money collected from selling flower garlands and coloured lanterns will be presented to “A heart for you” program of Vietnam Television to help children with heart disease.
