International yacht race to start in Nha Trang

The Saigontourist Travel Service Company (Saigontourist), in conjunction with the Hong Kong Royal Yacht Club, will launch the 4th Hong Kong – Nha Trang international yacht tournament on October 20th, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Held for the first time in 2004, the biennial event aims to promote images of Vietnamese islands and seas.
This year’s eight-day tournament draw the participation of about 250 domestic and international crews and visitors, as well as reporters from many countries and territories, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and several countries for Europe and from America.
According to the Binh Thuan Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, an international yacht festival, entitled “Yacht, Sea, Sun”, will be held at the Mui Ne Beach in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, from October 21st to 24th.
