Thuan An sea festival opens

The Thuan An Sea Festival 2010 was launched in Thuan An coastal town, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien – Hue province, starting off the sea tourism season and the 2010 Hue Festival.
At the opening ceremony, there was a three-part show invoking emotions in summer, aspiration and love, and melodies for Thuan An.
During the ongoing event, there are various activities such as arts performances, sports, traditional games, boat racing, kite flying, cock fighting, a fair of traditional trade village among others.
In particular, the 2nd national beach football tournament will be held in the town from June 1 to 7 with the participation of 8 teams.
The festival is a good opportunity for the district to promote its tourism potential, and to attract more domestic and foreign visitors and investors.
