HCM City to conduct tourism surveys

HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will conduct a survey of the city’s top tourism markets including the US, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. Australia and South Korea. The department’s Travel Division said the surveys would provide insight into what travellers to the city expect. To obtain the information, the division will distribute questionnaires to tourists and collect data concerning market trends and visitors’ demands from various other sources.
The department has also been collaborating with the HCM City University of Economics to carry out a large-scale survey on the Backpackers’ Quarter which is surrounded by De Tham, Bui Vien, Pham Ngu Lao and Do Quang Dau streets.
