Germany helps preserve cultural heritage
The Hanoi-based Goethe Institute, a cultural
organisation of Germany, will display two new publications on Vietnam’s relics
at the An Dinh palace in the former imperial city of Hue from June 7-13.
The publications are a DVD on the preservation of Vietnam’s cultural heritage
and three beautiful sites in the country and a book on the An Dinh Palace. They
also present King Tu Duc tomb in Hue and Tran Dang communal house in the
outskirts of Hanoi.
The publications are part of a programme themed “Germany in Vietnam 2010” being
held to mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
