Paintings made of rice and tree bark

A group of students from the Vietnam-America vocational training school has made unique paintings of landscapes, animals and still-lifes using rice, tree bark, newspaper and bamboo toothpicks to raise funds for charity.
Over 100 paintings and fine-art items are now on display until April 30 at the 8th floor of the Vietnam-America vocational training college, 21 Le Quy Don, District 3, HCM City. These paintings will be auctioned to raise funds for the Operation Smiles Foundation.
