International fireworks contest to light up Danang

      A competition to find the best fireworks display will take place in the central coastal city of Danang on March 27-28, attracting teams from Spain, Australia, China and the Philippines as well as a large number of tourists.
The contest entitled Am vang song Han (Echoes in the Han River) is one of the biggest cultural events to be held in Vietnam.
The teams that have won previous fireworks contests such as Australia, Spain and China are expected to bring original and spectacular displays to the audiences.
In addition, tourists at the event will have the chance to take part in various cultural, tourism and sporting activities that characterize Danang City, including the procession of flower boats and lantern release on the Han River, an art exhibition, and various water sports.
