Asia’s biggest budget carrier AirAsia opened a direct air route from Ho Chi Minh City to Jarkata on October 9.
With four flights a week between the two cities, the Indonesia-based airline expects to post a seat occupancy rate of 75-85 percent.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, AirAsia’s CEO Captain Dharmadi hoped the new air route will meet tourism demand and promote economic cooperation between Indonesia and Vietnam..
