Tourism marathon kicks off

Nearly 100 athletes from 20 countries including South Africa, US, China and Japan started a marathon along the road running through three tourist spots in central Vietnam, such as Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An.
The event started from Pham Van Dong Park on October 1st. The athletes stayed at Son Tra peninsula on the first day, and on the second day, athletes departed from Xuan Thieu beach to cross Hai Van pass and stopped at Lang Co beach of Thua Thien-Hue.
On the last day, they will race from the Furama Resort at Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang, and then to the final destination in Hoi An City.
The marathon lasted from Oct 1st to the 3rd.
