Vietnam film festival attracts nine int'l delegations

     The 26th Vietnam Film Festival will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from December 8-12 with the participation of delegations from China, Laos, Cambodia, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, the US, Finland and Singapore.
The event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee under the title ‘for a Vietnamese cinematography in the renovation and integration process.’
It is expected to provide a venue for artists to exchange experience and filmmakers to boost cooperation for the benefit of Vietnam’s cinema industry in the new period.
Viewers at the festival will have a chance to watch the new movies and meet celebrities.
Film studios are allowed to send entries that were produced, screened or broadcast between August 16, 2007 and September 30, 2008.
