“Vietnamese cultural days” held in Bashkortostan
“Vietnamese cultural days”
took place in Bashkortostan, a republic of Russia, on July 6-7.
Around 1,000 people attended the opening ceremony, which was held in the
Cultural Palace in the capital city of Ufa, to see 14 performances by Vietnamese
artists.
Host artists also joined in the event by staging a number of performances.
Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Chien Thang said
the cultural event not only aims to introduce the Bashkortostan people to
Vietnamese culture but also to create a chance for the two sides to exchange and
learn about each others’ cultural and spiritual treasures.
Bashkortostan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Nationalities
Policy, Ilydus Ilishev, expressed his hope that the event would help strengthen
bilateral ties, especially in the fields of economy and culture.
The entire corridor and vestibule of the palace was used to showcase Vietnam’s
traditional musical instruments, handicrafts and traditional costumes.
