Golf tournament to help poor patients

      The Saigontourist Golf Tournament 2009 is to be held at the Thu Duc golf course in Ho Chi Minh city as of August 1st to raise funds for poor patients in the city on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of Saigontourist.
According to the event’s organizing board, this year’s tournament is expected to raise around VND500 million to help poor patients through the HCMC Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients.
Main sponsors of the Saigontourist Golf Tournament 2009 include Caravelle Hotel’s Vegas Club, the International Tourist Club, RGB, the Bold Look of Kohler, and other co-sponsors.
Last year’s event drew the participation of over 150 golfers.
