Jetstar Pacific carries nearly 1 million passengers

      Jetstar Pacific Airlines carried nearly 1 million passengers during the first six months of 2009, and the carrier is expected to carry a total of 2 million passengers this year, an increase of 30% in comparison with the previous year’s figure.
Depite the country’s current stagnation, the low-cost airline has so far increased its flights to 42 per day, said Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, Jetstar Pacific Airlines’s Deputy General Director.
The airline currently offers 11 round-trip flights a day between Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, 4 between HCMC and Da Nang, and 2 between Ha Noi and Da Nang.
