National Press Award launched

      The National Press Award with the theme of 1000th anniversary of Thang Long Hanoi was officially launched yesterday.
The National Press Award on the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi aims to encourage journalists and Vietnamese people at home and abroad to create press articles about the thousand-year history, tradition and development of Thang Long - Hanoi from the past to the present. It is also one of the activities to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi.
An official ceremony to honour prize winners is scheduled to be held in the beginning of October, 2010.
The event is jointly organised by the Party Central Commission for Information and Education, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association and the Ministry of Information and Communication.
