Da Nang-Japan non-stop air route to be launched

      Da Nang People’s Committee and the national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, have recently signed a memorandum of understanding on opening a non-stop air route between Da Nang and Japan.
Vietnam Airlines’ CEO Pham Ngoc Minh said that in late 2009, the carrier will open charter flights from Da Nang to Japan with the aim of studying market demand as well as creating new service products for the tourism sector between Vietnam’s central region and Japan.
In addition, it is estimated that in mid-2010, Vietnam Airlines will launch Da Nang-Osaka non-stop air route and Cambodia’s Siem Reap with 180-seat Airbus 321.
