National Tourism Year be held in Hanoi

      The organization of the National Tourism Year of 2010 in Hanoi has just been agreed to in principle by the Government.
The National Steering Board of the Great Anniversary of the 1000th Thang Long- Ha Noi foundation is assigned to further consider the program and appropriately combine activities of the 2 big events.
At this point, the Hanoi Tourism sector is collaborating with involved agencies and organizations to plan the National Tourism Year in accordance with the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee directions.
According to officials, the organization of these two events, in Hanoi at the same time, will provide unique opportunities for the city’s tourism to increase and to promote the city’s one-thousand-year cultural values, as well as its achievements after more than 20 years of carrying out the Doi Moi policy.
It will also give it a chance to become a leading tourist destination in the region and the world.
