VND 550 billion to build Nha Trang-Da Lat Highway

      The Khanh Hoa provincial managing board for key construction projects has just finalized a plan for the second phase of the highway linking Nha Trang and Da Lat.
The 34km-long highway, to be built at a cost of nearly VND 550 billion, will start from Cau Long in Dien Khanh district to Khanh Le in Khanh Vinh district.
A construction bidding will be held in May 2009.
The first phase of the Nha Trang-Da Lat Highway was completed, linking Nha Trang with Lac Duong in Lam Dong Province. The second phase is expected to be finished in 2010.
After the second phase, the whole highway will be 140km long, 90km shorter than the current one which goes through Phan Rang in Ninh Thuan Province.
