Exhibition greets New Year of the Monkey

An exhibition entitled ‘Greeting the Spring in the Year of the Monkey’ opened in Ha Noi on February 16.
The exhibition is held annually in the first days every Lunar New Year by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to salute the new spring and a new year full of hopes.
The exhibit includes 21 fine arts works and 19 photos by 15 artists, including Vi Kien Thanh, Ma The Anh, Ngo Quang Duong, Dinh Minh Dong, Do Vu Ngoc and Tran Kim Thoa.
Despite working with different media, the artists share a common passion for the arts and show creativity in their works.
The exhibits capture the natural beauty of Viet Nam as well as the daily life of the people. Viewers can also witness the country’s significant changes as well as the artists’ hopes for a new year full of peace, prosperity and happiness through the works..
