The 6th Da Lat Flower Festival 2015 to come

On 1 December 2015, in Ha Noi, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee organized a press conference to introduce the 6th Da Lat Flower Festival 2015.
With the theme “Da Lat – colors of flowers”, Da Lat Flower Festival 2015 will be held from 29 December 2015 to 2 January 2016 in Da Lat City, including 9 main programs and 19 responsive programs, taking place mainly in the Da Lat City and several localities within Lam Dong Province.
The highlight of the Da Lat Flower Festival 2015 is flower decoration around Xuan Huong Lake, Le Dai Hanh street and Ong Dao Bridge, Visiting flower villages and companies; Decorating theme floral spaces at tourist sites.
“Gala evening honoring Da Lat florists” at Lam Vien Square is a new highlight in the festival. The event will be held in the evening of 1 January 2016 aiming honor typical organizations and individuals in production and development of floriculture in Da Lat.
Many other activities will be organized such as Da Lat Flower Market; Da Lat Flower Carnival; Street of Da Lat tea, coffee, wine and specialties; Scientific conference on flower; Space for Calligraphy, painting and flower photography…
In addition to the main programs, there will also be 19 responsive programs including Contest “Green – Clean – Nice”; Flower arrangement, fashion, painting contest; Golf tournament; “Song of the Piano 2015”…
The opening ceremony of the 6th Da Lat Flower Festival 2015 will officially be held at 8pm on 29 December 2015 at Lam Vien Square.
At the press conference, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Da said Da Lat Flower Festival is an occasion to honor the contribution of flower businesses and growers in Da Lat. The development of Da Lat flower industry has contributed to attract more tourists and investors, expand markets, create jobs for the local people.
