VNAT’s activities in Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015

From June 25 – July 03, 2015, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism organizes activities in the framework of Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 (June 27 - July 03, 2015). This event is held by Southwest Region Steering Committee in coordination with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and People's Committee of Can Tho City.
Accordingly, VNAT participates in Mekong Delta’s trade and tourism Fair from June 27 - July 03, 2015 in Can Tho City. Viet Nam tourism booth focuses on introducing brochures, publications that promote Viet Nam’s image and tourism products.
In the framework of Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015, VNAT hosted two workshops on Linking for development of Mekong Delta’s green tourism 2015 (June 29, 2015) and on Application of Green Lotus sustainable tourism Label to tourism accommodation facilities in Viet Nam (July 1, 2015) at Muong Thanh Hotel in Can Tho City.
The workshop on Linking for development of Mekong Delta’s green tourism 2015 aims at boosting linking for development of Mekong Delta’s sustainable tourism, which focuses on developing green tourism to protect the environment and respond to climate change.
The workshop on Application of Green Lotus sustainable tourism Label to tourism accommodation facilities in Viet Nam is held to introduce criteria for green tourism (Green Lotus sustainable tourism Label and ASEAN green Label); propagandize environmentally and socially responsible activities, measures to protect environment, green technologies in tourism.
From June 25 – July 1, 2015, VNAT organizes a famtrip to explore tourism products in Phu Quoc, Rach Gia (Kien Giang), Nam Can, Dat Mui (Ca Mau), Bac Lieu and Can Tho to help tourism enterprises to enhance cooperation, diversify tourism products and improve service quality.
