“Da Nang – Summer Destination 2015” – Promising attraction

From 20 June to 1 July, in East Sea Park and Da Nang tourism beaches, the program “Da Nang – Summer Destination 2015” is held with many fascinating activities for the locals and tourists.
According to Culture, Sports and Tourism Department of Da Nang City, in addition to many traditional activities such as: chef competition, bartender competition, food festival, model airplane show, “bai choi” singing and marine sports like canoeing, paragliding, parasailing…“Da Nang – Summer Destination 2015” offers many new attractive activities.
Notably, an art installation program themed “Da Nang Summer Sea” is held for the first time with sand paintings on 40 recycled car tires arranged around East Sea Park area. Tourists can participate in drawing sand paintings according to their preferences. Meanwhile, in East Sea Park the program “Color me run” is also expected to attract thousands of young participants.
Besides, in the framework of the program, there are many other exciting activities namely kayak race, national beach football tournament, national youth cycling, X-Games performance with the participation of Viet Nam Skateboarding Club from Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, parkour and patin athletes from Da Nang’s clubs, face painting, flash mob performance, mini games for families and visitors (throwing balls in baskets, filling water bottles, sack jumping…), photo exhibition on Da Nang tourism, introduction on new tours in Da Nang, and nightly art programs…
Annually held since 2010, “Da Nang – Summer Destination” is a special event with many culture, sports and tourism activities attracting hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign visitors to Da Nang for summer vacation. It is considered a crucial summer tourist activity for the development of Da Nang tourism.
