Nam Dinh provincial museum receives 400 books on folklore culture
Nam Dinh provincial museum has received 400 rare books on
folklore culture from the provincial Folklore Culture and Arts Association and
cultural researchers in the province.
These books are about ethnology, intangible cultural heritage, folklore culture,
and the religious beliefs of 54 Vietnamese ethnic minority groups by professors,
doctors and scientists who had spent many years studying history and culture.
Accessing the value of documentary books, head of the Nam Dinh provincial
Folklore Culture and Arts Association Ho Duc Tho said that the 400 books bring
specific characteristics of each region. They are not only about ethnology,
sociology, custom and festivals of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups but also
about national traditional values.
Nam Dinh provincial museum will preserve and make a list of books for the
special library in the museum to serve readers..
