VietJetAir offers huge discounts

VietJetAir continues to offer discounts on flights from HCMC to Nha Trang, Dalat, Danang and Hue so that travel firms joining the travel stimulus program can design discounted domestic package tours.
Previously, the low-cost carrier offered a 49% discount only on the HCMC-Hanoi and other major routes.
Tran The Dung from the travel stimulus program said that together with the expansion of discounted flights, VietJetAir would offer a reduction from VND2.9 million to VND2.54 million on the return ticket price from HCMC to Hanoi, Haiphong and Vinh.
The travel stimulus program is carried out by the HCMC Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines and VietJetAir. With discounted airfares, travel firms also offer a lower price of tourism services to reduce the package tour price by an average of 30%.
According to Dung, travel firms participating in the program have sold discounted package tours for around 12,000 customers since June. “This result is quite good amid current difficulties in selling domestic air tours,” he said..
