Queen Mary 2 makes unique port call in Vietnam

The luxury ocean liner Queen Mary 2 on March 29 dropped anchor at
Phu My Port in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau with around 2,500
passengers on board. This is the unique port call of Queen Marry 2 in Vietnam
this year.
Many of the passengers are scheduled to join tours to explore Ba Ria-Vung Tau,
HCMC, and the Mekong Delta region, which are arranged by the local firm Tan Hong
Tourism Co.
QM2, the flagship of the Cunard Cruises, is a giant ship measuring 345 meters in
length. She has 14 spacious decks with 1,310 cabins including the majestic
two-tiered Queen Suites. Guests are catered for impeccably by a total crew of
1,254 people.
The liner is often referred to as the floating city in terms of size and
facilities with many swimming pools, shops and gaming tables, health and
relaxation areas, and theatre among others.
