The Da Nang People’s Committee (PC) has held a press conference
to announce the activities and program for the fifth annual DIFC (Da Nang
International Fireworks Competition) to be held on 29 and 30 April.
At the conference, 25 businesses pledged nearly VND 29 billion to sponsor this
special event. Four of them will provide amounts of over VND 3 billion.
This year’s theme is “The Colours of Da Nang”. Teams from Vietnam, the host
country, and from Canada, China, France and Italy will participate. All of the
foreign teams have won previous competitions.
There will be a wide range of activities during the two-day event such as
cooking classes, a boat procession, sporting activities, music and fashion
shows.
There will be three grandstands, two holding more than 9,000 spectators and the
other about 16,000.
About 16,000 tickets will be pre-sold in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang
with prices from VND 200,000 to VND 300,000.
