Channel News Asia reports on Da Nang
    
NA (Channel News Asia) is an English language news channel of 
Temasek, the Singaporean National Investment Corporation. Specializing in 
covering of emerging areas in South East Asia, it is ranked third in the world 
and first in the Asia-Pacific in terms of competitiveness in the IT market. CNA 
is regarded as the CNN of SouthEast Asia.
A CNA crew came to Da Nang on 9 February to shoot an episode of "Boom Town 
Asia". This introduces Asian cities with the most potential for development and 
Da Nang was chosen as an outstanding Vietnamese example.
The 30 minute feature will be broadcast by CNA at 10:30 p.m on 19 February. It 
includes interviews with representatives of the Viet Nam Beer Co, the Da Nang 
Indochina Capital Group, and Chairman Van Huu Chien of the city People’s 
Committee. Chairman Chien will talk about city’s development orientation and 
administrative management, investment attractions, tourism and sustainable 
development.
The crew also took footage at the Investment Promotion Center, and filmed local 
people’ lives and cultural activities and the city’s landscapes.
