Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa trekking (B, L, D)
Day 2: Sapa trekking (B, L)
Day 3: Biking to Muong Lay (B, L, D)
Day 4: Muong Lay – Dien Bien (B, L)
Day 5: Dien Bien – Son La (B, L, D)
Day 6: Son La – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
Day 7: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

DETAILED ITINERARY

Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai |

Take a taxi from your hotel to the train station (you can ask the hotel to call
a taxi for you, payment is just
3-5USD/taxi) to catch the night train departing Hanoi for Lao Cai at 20:00.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa trekking |

Arrive at Lao Cai station very early in the morning. Meet with your local guide and transfer to Sapa. Have a breakfast before start trekking 6km down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km of trekking down to Lao Chai village of the H’mong. Lunch at a local family, and then walk through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people where we stay for the night. It gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way.

Day 2: Sapa trekking |

Today we leave Sapa towards the West to find especially amazing adventures on the bike. Today you will bike for about 30-50 km depends on your health and the topography. We may stop for lunch at a small town of Tam Duong and continue the trip in the afternoon. Arrive at Muong Lay City late afternoon. Check in and overnight at a standard hotel.

Day 3: Biking to Muong Lay |

Today we leave Sapa towards the West to find especially amazing adventures on the bike. Today you will bike for about 30-50 km depends on your health and the topography. We may stop for lunch at a small town of Tam Duong and continue the trip in the afternoon. Arrive at Muong Lay City late afternoon. Check in and overnight at a standard hotel.

Day 4: Muong Lay – Dien Bien |

Leave Muong Lay early because many beautiful landscapes and
scenic spots are awaiting for us. This is another challenge for cyclists with
the roads of several slopes. However, our car and support van will always
besides to aid if you want to take a rest. We will arrive in Dien Bien city
early afternoon, so that we will have a little time to see the old Dien Bien Phu
Battle Field, A1 Mount, De Catries Base, etc. This city is quite big, and you
can find good food yourselves, so dinner is not included.
Overnight in Dien Bien City at a standard hotel.

Day 5: Dien Bien – Son La |

This road is more easier but still provide a stunning view of the Moc Chau highlands and prairies. We will spend most of the day biking and taking photos en route. We can stop for lunch at the small town of Tuan Giao and continue to Son La in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at a nice standard hotel in Son La City.

Day 6: Dien Bien – Son La |

Another fascinating ride to the beautiful valley of Mai Chau -
Hoa Binh Province. Road condition is good but there are
still several high slopes, so you will need the help of the vans. Arrive at Lac
Village - Mai Chau Town late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at a local homestay.

Day 7: Mai Chau – Hanoi |

This is the last day, maybe you will be quite tired, so you will
take a drive out the valley and down the high long slopes, then bike from Xuan
Mai to Hanoi.
Arrive at your pre-booked hotel in the afternoon. Tour ends.
