Saigon - Cu Chi – Mekong delta tour

Really short, but just enough to experience the bustling daily life of the Vietnamese residing in the Mekong Delta and have a memorable visit to a guerrilla base from the Vietnam War time, which assuredly helps understand the efforts paid for the current peaceful life.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, greeted by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. After lunch the city tour will be began at Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market in the city's bustling Chinatown and ended at a famous lacquer ware workshop. Dinner with delicious Saigon cuisine and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B, L)
Explore the life on the Mekong Delta by over landing to Vinh Long and take a boat from here to float along the narrow waterways to witness the daily rituals of the exciting river life with floating market full of fresh fruits and river products. Take stops at several family-operated cottage industries specializing in the production of fish sauce, tofu and rice paper. Back to Saigon for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province, the birthplace of Cao Dai, a local sect of Buddhism, and join a memorable noon daily ceremony of the Cao Dai followers. After lunchtime back to a historic site of the Vietnam War to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by the local people and guerillas to survive the war against the American explosive attacks. Back for dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (D)
At leisure until your guide arrive to accompany you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the onward flight.
