Hi Dinh Thao.
As a former travel agent, I do have some comments on the tour. The
driver and both guides were knowledgeable, and personable. Excellent!
The food was excellent.
But:
The distances were too far apart for a 3 day tour. We spent a lot of
time in the car. Since our only request was to do the DMZ, I would have
eliminated either the park and done the home stay and maybe gone to the
tunnels near the DMZ and stayed over night near there.
The homestay family was delightful. I would have preferred to sleep in
the small extra room that our baggage was in, But we all slept in the
big room under mosquito nets. Most western clients prefer a private room
no matter how small. Also, air mattresses or extra blankets to sleep on
would help aging bones.
We enjoyed both the homestay and the park...but doing both put us on the
road a lot for a 3 day tour.
The room at Bach Ma was not clean and had no hot or cold water in the
morning. The bed covers were torn and dirty, I would not put clients
there again. It was gross.
The food however, was very good.
On the whole, we really enjoyed the uniqueness of the program and it
would have worked out better if we had an extra day. We will definitely
refer clients to your agency.
